Excellence

We set high standards in all areas of school life. We work hard and try our best in each lesson, each day and each term to be the very best version of ourselves.

Respect

We speak and behave towards ourselves and other members of our community in a kind, pleasant and polite manner.

Personal Responsibility

We make good decisions about what we say and do and are accountable for our choices.

Gratitude

We notice and appreciate other people’s actions, the opportunities we are offered and the world in which we live.

Leading Parent Partnership Award

From September 2024, SKA is working towards the Leading Parent Partnership Award. This award will help SKA to work in partnership with all parents and carers through increased parental participation in school life to promote improved pupil progress, punctuality, attendance and behaviour.

The framework encourages parents to be involved in their children's learning, leading to improved outcomes in all aspects of school life.

If you would like to know more, please contact Mrs Ferrier (Senior Assistant Principal) via email on sferrier@skegnessacademy.org

In January 2025, the Academy hosted the first Community Champion Evening where parents and SKA students were celebrated for their work in the local community.  It was a great event, and we welcomed the Mayor, the Skegness Rotary and also the Skegness Branch of the Royal British Legion to share in the celebrations.
