Ski Trip Update Today is known as hump Wednesday, where the tiredness kicks in and muscles you didn't know existed ache ... however with some motivation from the teachers, all students have pushed through the pain and ended the day smiling from ear to ear. All groups can master the nursery slope, some groups have moved up the mountain and started on the green runs and one group even smashed a red run! We celebrated the successes with a game of bowling, some karaoke and arcade machines. A great sense of achievement all round! #SKASkiTrip2025

We are so proud to announce that Jaydon has secured a place at Coventry University to study BA (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science! Jaydon's dedication, resilience, and passion for sport and education have truly set him apart. He consistently works hard, not only in his studies but also in supporting the wider school community. His commitment to helping others and his leadership qualities shine through in everything he does. Recently, Jaydon completed a work experience placement at Weston Favell Academy, where he made an outstanding impression. Staff were so impressed with his professionalism, maturity, and enthusiasm that they had to remind themselves he was on work experience and not already a member of their team! He fully immersed himself in every aspect of school leadership, from attending meetings and home visits to supporting lessons and student interactions. Several staff members even asked if they could keep him! It's clear that Jaydon has an incredibly bright future ahead in education, and we couldn't be prouder. Well done, Jaydon!

The free revision flashcards that Science gave out to Year 11 recently were so successful that the Department have now decided to extend this and give away FREE revision packs. These are currently being made up and will be ready to give out after Half Term. These will be available from next week for Year 11 students. Collect your pack from B25 at Break or Lunchtime.

Ski Trip Update All is going well in Andorra for the SKA Ski Trip 2025. There's been a few tears of frustration however a lot of belly laughing! There will be some sore legs in the morning however the stroll around the local town this evening will hopefully ease the aches! #SKASkiTrip2025

National Apprenticeship Week 2025 As National Apprenticeship Week comes to a close, SKA would like to share and celebrate our very own Apprentices, Miss Wilkinson and Miss Gothard.
