About Our Academy

The Skegness Academy opened on 1 September 2010, replacing the predecessor St Clements College. It provides 11-19 education for up to 1190 pupils, including 340 post-16. The Academy occupies a large site with extensive sports facilities and green space.

  • Advice and support over Christmas We have attached the Student Signposting document which lists support services for young people. This includes signposting information to mental health support, keeping safe, relationships and online safety to name a few . Please share this with your children if you feel it will be of benefit. Please take the time to consider your own wellbeing over the Christmas period and remember there are services available to support. If you wish to share any non-urgent safeguarding concerns with us, then please email safeguarding@skegnessacademy.org. Please be aware that emails will only be sporadically checked over the festive period and we will only respond to those that require intervention before we return in January.

  • In Science today, 8A4 made Christmas decorations while learning Science. They split pigments using water. Well done, everyone!
